p10100152It might not be regarded as an ‘official’ milestone, but Bubs recently took another step on the road to toddlerhood and I must admit it’s one of the cutest yet! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, my wee man has made the staggering leap from…sleepsuits to pyjamas! Proper, big boy pyjamas! We’ve bought him a few pairs but my favourites by far are these ones from Next which have a very trendy skinny fit that prevents them from bunching and scrunching up while he performs his nightly cha-cha round the cot in his sleep. He loves looking at the dinosaur on the front and making scary ‘grrr’ noises like his mate George from Peppa Pig. I, meanwhile, just cannot get enough of the sight of his chubby wee legs encased in those green leggings with his fat wee feet poking out the bottom – I could just eat him up! Grrr!

Hello! I’m Claire and welcome to MumUnplugged! I started this blog in 2008 following the birth of my son; I was bored on maternity leave from my job as a magazine editor, and besides feeling a pathological urge to just write something, I wanted to put my own experiences as a first time mum out there for others to share.     Oh little Alfie is SO cute!!! But just you wait until the day you see giant baby grows and buy them all up! Saf loves her White Comp baby grows just as much as her PJ’s. x

    Ha ha – I would, except I think I would have more luck trying to button a live salmon into them, he is so wriggly and impatient! PJs are much easier!
