New growth chart for breastfed babies

Just saw this on the Beeb; the government has finally caught on that breastfed babies gain weight more slowly than their formula fed counterparts and is changing the growth charts used by health visitors to reflect this. So many mums give up breastfeeding because midwives and heath visitors tell them their babies aren’t ‘thriving’ according to the charts, so this is great news and will hopefully improve breastfeeding rates.
